Very cool loop filament light bulbs. This would be a great addition to an old antique lamp of some sort.

On a related topic, I just scored some amazing older (early 1990′s) top quality, clear,  light bulbs that also have considerably longer filaments. Would also look great in similar lamps. Some are 150w! Anyone interested, let me know. There is a neigbour down the road that, no word of a lie, has hundreds. Had a business at one time and was paid in light bulbs.

The “wake” is a collection of furniture\objects, which was Inspired by The Christian wake ceremony. The furniture are made of relatively small pieces of scrap timber cut to extremely accurate sizes and then glued together in a matrix to a block. The blocks are then carved into tree stump like shapes.

Some great sheds entered this year – the 1950′s diner featured on Boing Boing previously made it though along with a great Welsh TARDIS shed, a shed where musicians perform and then go on YouTube, a not so typical Pub Shed alongside a Eco ARC shaped shed with a green roof to mention a few. The winner will be announced during Shed Week (4th July 2011)”
