Sexual Wellness Lodge

Briefing

Ka Ni Kanichihk reached out to us looking for help to create a campaign to promote a new sexual wellness clinic. There, young Indigenous people may seek help when they have questions about sexual wellness, get tested against Sexually Transmitted and Blood Borne Infections (STBBI), and live a healthy and happy sexual life.

Approach

We used vibrant and warm colours like orange, pink and purple, with the visual and written content is focused on a light, fun approach, with the intention to demystify some pre-conceived ideas about sexual health care. The language used was inspired by indigenous humour and slang. We chose the concept of Aunties because they represent knowledge, safety and an emotional shelter for the youth. They are the people in which teens and young adults can rely for counseling and support, representing the safe space the clinic wants to offer to those who visit them.
