Southern Chiefs’ Organization

Briefing

Since 1999, SCO has worked to protect, preserve, promote, and enhance First Nations peoples’ inherent rights, languages, customs, and traditions. They wanted to update their logo that, while meaningful, was not ideal for use online and other environments.

Approach

In addition to re-thinking the logo, we collaborated with SCO on another way to bring new life to their branding, arriving at a flower motif that could be used to add beauty and meaning to marketing and communication efforts. The motif includes 34 flower elements to signify the communities SCO represents.
